Careers on the Water Introductory Training program will be set to sail in Spring 2023 with 62 available spots spread throughout the region with Niagara Falls, Toronto, Kingston, Gananoque, Rockport, Brockville and Ottawa.
The training is completed virtually with a few in-person certifications. It consists of a variety of guest speakers, certifications workshops and modules to better prepare you to work in the marine industry.
Some of these include: Marine first Aid & CPR, Vessel Safety and Skills, and leadership building. Upon completion participants work closely with KEYS to complete a placement and find an available employment position with one of our partnering employers.
Careers on the Water Mate, Limited preparatory program with St. Lawrence College is open to all applicants with ongoing rolling admission.
